Description
Hydramotion Malton – UK is a technology for the measurement of viscosity based on the principle of vibrational resonance applied to a stainless steel probe which carries purely electronic microrotations without moving parts.
Hydramotion is particularly suitable in case of non-Newtonian and highly non-Newtonian fluids as it does not interfere with the molecular structure of the fluid.
Intended for various applications, Hydramotion viscometers can be installed vertically, horizontally and diagonally both for piping and in tanks or reactors. They do not emit sound or vibration and do not suffer from disturbing echoes.
The Hydramotion viscometers are not affected by temperature and pressure variations, avoiding possible drifts. In addition, the measurement is not affected by the presence of bubbles, particles or vibrations; thanks to the absence of forks or capillaries it is possible to prevent fouling and clogging.
The Hydramotion viscometers are able to operate up to 1000 bar pressure and 450 °C continuous operating temperature without cooling fluids and are provided with ATEX / IECEx certification, as well as a wide choice of attacks (DIN, ANSI, threaded, Sanitary, 3-A, …).
The Hydramotion viscometers are equipped with remote electronics able to compensate in temperature, pressure or density according to the needs of the process, as well as to calculate the reported viscosity. Each viscometer is calibrated with certified liquid at the factory.
